Follow the regime of CTM, which means Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising, as it gives fineness to the
makeup.
Use a Primer before applying foundation as it gives a smooth and lasting finish to the skin, helps to hide the
fine lines and controls the excessive oil secretion on the skin.
Use a Concealer according to the skin type to hide dark circles and blemishes.
Choose your waterproof makeup according to the weather:
o Matt foundation for monsoons and summers, as there is a lot of humidity in the air
o Cream-based foundation for winters, to keep the skin moisturised
Go for a foundation that matches your skin tone to give a natural look, not one shade lighter or darker.
Apply Face Powder to keep the foundation intact.
For Eye Makeup, use:
o Powder-based and pastel-shades eye-shadows for summers and monsoons. Avoid smoky eye makeup.
o Cream-based dark coloured eye-shadows for winters
Always use waterproof Mascaras and Eyeliners to avoid smudging.
Use a Blusher to highlight your cheek bones.
o Powder-based for summers and monsoons
o Cream-based for winters
Choose your Lipstick according to your dress. Preferably use light shades during the day time like pink and
peach, and dark shades at night like red and maroon. Do outline your lips before applying lipstick. You can
apply a Lip Gloss to add shimmer to your pout.
Always go for subtle makeup that makes you look refreshing and not drab.
Always carry some oil-blotting sheets in your purse that can soak excess oil and sweat.
